Meet The Doctors

Dr. Chris

I was raised in a small town a few miles north of beautiful Half Moon Bay, California. I have two younger brothers. When we were growing up, we rode and more importantly maintained and rebuilt our bicycles, dirt motorcycles, and vintage cars together in a very meticulous manner with guidance from our parents. From this, our parents instilled in us a passion for perfection in all walks of life, from our personal hobbies to our professional aspirations. They also taught us to care for and treat others the way we ourselves would like to be treated. That is why we treat every patient in our office as we would a family member.

I graduated with honors (cum laude) from San Francisco State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic and Industrial Design. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2001. While at UCSF, I was awarded the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry. This is awarded by the clinical faculty to recognize excellence in clinical skill.

I met my wife Anne in dental school and we relocated to the wonderful city of Turlock because we loved the “small town” feel and great family-friendly community. We felt it was the perfect place to raise our two children. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Stanislaus Dental Society, Turlock Implant Study Club, and have served on the Stanislaus Dental Society Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Anne

I had always loved going to see my dentist and orthodontist as a teenager, because I loved the overall atmosphere at the dental office. It was always bustling with activity, fun, and lively chatter. I truly enjoyed interacting with people, listening to them, and sharing their stories. Dentistry was the obvious choice for me. I graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2001, where I met my husband Chris. I received the Milton and Mary Gabbs Award for outstanding professionalism in dentistry.

I am an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Stanislaus Dental Society, and the Turlock Implant Study Club. Chris and I feel lucky each day to be able to provide dental services to our patients in a warm and inviting environment and visiting with each of them and their families. To us, that is what the essence of what a family dental practice should be.
